Welcome to the FAQ for middleagestartup.com. Here, you will find answers to frequently asked questions about my journey, the blog, and the challenges and successes I'm encountering along the way. I hope these answers provide insights and inspiration for your own journey.

Why are you making a whole blog site about you and your journey?

I cannot be the only person in the world going through this! As a middle-aged woman, single parent, and career changer, I'm building two businesses after a 30-year corporate career while attending school full time and raising a Great Dane puppy. This blog is here to share my experiences, connect with others, and show that it's never too late to start something new.

What was the hardest thing you had to do?

The hardest thing has been overcoming self-doubt and fear. Leaving the security of a corporate job and venturing into the unknown is incredibly daunting. Believing in myself and my vision, especially on tough days, requires constant effort and a strong support system.

How are you making money?

Currently, my income comes from a combination of savings, freelance work related to my past corporate experience, and the initial stages of revenue generation from my new businesses. As middleagestartup.com grows, I am exploring various monetization strategies, including advertising, affiliate marketing, and selling digital products or services.

Beyond the ordinary

I am crafting a new life with my new businesses. You can too! Yes, I am scared most days. But I know that I will succeed and I am excited to be on this journey. Join me as we navigate the challenges and celebrate the triumphs of starting over in middle age. It's a journey, and I'm glad to have you along for the ride.
